In the cover of this, there is a kid that
portrayed a school boy. He tries to say that school is cool, and there have
lots of words to show it, such as happy, fun games, no tears and so on.
On the other hand, the man showed in the
cover represents a fashion magazine. It shows what the fashion is in a quarter
of that year. Besides, the man dress up like a gentleman. \
What ideals are created? What identity is created?
Both of two magazines have a concept that is sell their points and products to everyone. It is in order to attract customers and readers to read their magazines. Also, using different colors and shapes to get more attention.
How do you, as a male or female, relate to the images?
As being a man, I would like to buy one to take a look, and it is because it can make to know how to dress up. It has already proved that a fashion magazine is so true in my life. On another hand, when I was young, I was just like that kid that thinking about how the school is so cool. It is so true to any high school students, including me.
Are they "true" to me?
They are so true to me as i was a kid and being a man now. In the parent magazine, it refers that children's life have always fun because there was no annoyance and trouble. But when i became to be a man, i realized that i have to know how to dress up. So, the fashion magazine of men can help me, let me know what a fashion is.
