Personal Reflection

Personal Reflection

Throughout two incidents in the outsides, it is in order to show how they impacted my life. There is two points that I wanted to mention. The first one is an incident about the church, another one is about bob’s death. As Johnny and Ponyboy both sensed that the church was on fire, they went to save the children as possible as they can. By all their forces, it showed that what a human is, and what should we do as being a human. I did have introspection as I finished reading this part. I tried to think that if it is happens to me, what should I do? It is because I am a person that is full of indecision, and not a decisive man. But I realized that it should be acted by instinct, and do not regret it as much as possible. On the other hand, Johnny chose to escape as he perceived he has already killed Bob. As being a human, he was fear to face his own fault, which was killed Bob. However, he was in self-defense or not, he should not just run away and avoid it. It does not mean the incident did not occur even he has avoided and escaped it. The truth is truth, and it will not be disappeared. In his final decision, he wanted to confess his crime, tell anyone that Bob was killed by him. It impacted my life, and also it taught me a lesson about what I should do as it happens to me. I should be bravely faced my own fault if I did something wrongs. I think I am similar to Johnny because I understood what the value of being an honest man is, and realized that the truth is a truth that we never cannot change. Yet, I cannot do the same heroes behaviors as similar as Johnny and Ponyboy both did. It is because I am an indecisive man that I have mentioned. Therefore, I would like to change my defect in order to become better in the future.
